HISTORIC FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH

First Baptist Church is a congregation of baptized believers in Jesus as the Christ and is united in its covenant for worship, services, instructions and ordinances according to the Gospel.

MISSION STATEMENT

To carry out the mandates of the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that others may know and follow him. The Disciples of Christ will demonstrate His love and compassion by helping to meet the needs of all people.

Our Vision is to be a unified worshipping, serving, discipling and caring congregation to reflect the life of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. By the fruit of the Holy Spirit, we minister to the members and community to grow the church, inspire our youth, witness to the lost, feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, work for justice and peace and do the work of the Kingdom of God in the 21st Century.
